Bassett Folklife
Project
The following tapes are from the Bassett High School Folklife Project in the mid
1970s, a brainchild of English teacher, Gerald Byrd. His students did the
interviews with Bassett's older citizens, and these tapes have helped us
understand their way of life, work ethics, etc. in Bassett and Henry County
during earlier days.
